This Privacy Policy describes how Farmers Friend (legal entity pending confirmation) (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information through the Farmers Friend website, apps, and Farmers Friend Updates text message program. Farmers Friend is the technology platform used to operate the program.

When you sign up at rowminder.com/sms-opt-in, we collect your name, mobile number, and optionally your email address, along with the time of sign-up, the exact consent wording you saw, and basic technical data (IP address and browser type) for security and compliance. Farms that use Farmers Friend also provide account details and farm records, including voice recordings, transcripts, and notes captured in the field journal.

We use your mobile number to send the texts you agreed to: product news and promotions, pilot program invitations, event and webinar announcements, and account notifications. Some messages are marketing or promotional. If you give an email address, we use it only to contact you about your sign-up unless you separately opt in to email updates. Field journal recordings and transcripts are private to the farm that created them. They are used to provide the service, including automated extraction of observations and tasks, and are never used for advertising.

Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent records, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.

We share data only as needed to run the service: Twilio (text message delivery), Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), and an AI model provider that processes field journal transcripts on our behalf. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Data is stored and processed in the United States. Consent records are retained for compliance and audit purposes as required by law. Other records are kept while your account or subscription is active, or until you ask us to delete them, subject to legal exceptions.
